Super Bowl Winners Not Going to Disney World

PITTSBURGH – It’s been a Super Bowl (search) tradition for almost two decades — at the end of the NFL championship, someone on the winning team gets to shout, “I’m going to Disney World!”

Not this year.

Disney (DIS) has decided against the promotion for Super Bowl XXXIX. A company official told USA Today the promotion might return next year.

A Disney spokesman in Orlando, Fla., denied that the move was connected with last year’s “wardrobe malfunction” involving singer Janet Jackson (search) during the Super Bowl halftime show.

The NFL, according to the paper, had no comment.
