VIENNA – Authorities say a small plane has crashed at an air show in southern Austria, fatally injuring the pilot.

The accident happened near the town of Freisach in the southern province of Carinthia on Sunday.

Police spokesman Markus Dexl told the Austria Press Agency that the pilot lost control of the aircraft during a maneuver and crashed.

There were no other casualties.
