Small Plane Crash Kills Four in New Jersey

STAFFORD TOWNSHIP, N.J. – New Jersey officials say they’ve found the bodies of two men and two women strapped in their seats in a small plane that crashed about 40 miles north of Atlantic City.

Witnesses and authorities say the plane broke apart in flight before plowing into woods. It narrowly missed homes.

Residents say parts of the plane rained down around them.

A co-owner of a gift shop near the crash site says she heard a whining sound and a big pop. She says she didn’t see the main part of the plane, just “the little pieces.”
